A cookbook created using purely typography and graphic elements. The goal for this project was to create a functional and flexible layout for a cookbook using purely typography and graphical devices. I used a simple layout that could accommodate both larger and smaller recipes.
The final booklet was set in Proxima Nova and Arno Pro and printed by the Digital Output Center at Emily Carr University.
I used simple variation in size and weight to create a natural rhythm throughout the text and layouts.
Through coulour and a loose grid I built a subtle structure to guide the reader.
